Who we are

Our team is made up of Website Developers and Digital Marketing Experts and we have been working together since 2019. We love pets. Our website address is https://therabbitsguide.com.

Comments

As part of the spam detection process, we collect the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string when they leave a comment on the site.

To determine if you are using Gravatar, Gravatar may use an anonymized string (also called a hash) created from your email address. You can find the Gravatar privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible to the public under the comment’s context.

Media

Uploading images to the website should avoid uploading images that include embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download the location data included in the images.

Cookies

You may opt-in to save your name, email address, and website when you leave a comment on our site. These cookies will last for one year, so you do not have to fill them in again when you leave another comment.

You will receive a temporary cookie when you visit our login page to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal information and is destroyed when your browser is closed.

Upon logging in, we will also set up several cookies to store your login information and screen display preferences. The login cookie lasts two days, while the screen option cookie lasts a year. Logins that remain active for two weeks are saved by choosing “Remember Me”. If you log out, the login cookie will be removed.

You will receive an additional cookie in your browser when you edit or publish an article. This cookie contains no personal data and merely indicates the post ID of the article you just edited.

Embedded content from other websites

Videos, images, articles, etc., may be embedded in articles on this site. Embedded content on this site behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other site.

If you have an account and are logged in to the website, these websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content.

Who do we share your data with

When you request a password reset, you will receive an email with your IP address.

How long we retain your data

In the case of a comment, both the comment and its metadata will be retained indefinitely. This means that any follow-up comments will be automatically recognized and approved rather than held for moderation.

A user’s personal information is also stored in their user profile if they register on our website. This information can also be viewed and edited by website administrators (except that they cannot change their username). Personal information can be viewed, edited, and deleted by users at any time (except username).

What rights do you have over your data?

You can export the information we hold about you in a file to you if you have an account on this site or have left a comment, including any data you have provided us. On request, you may also erase any personal data we hold about you. We do not keep any data for administrative, legal, or security reasons.

Where your data is sent

It may be possible to detect spam in visitor comments by using an automated spam detection service.
